Save the date for this important event to discuss the challenges of finding transportation in King County. The goal of the Summit is to identify challenges the target populations of older adults, people with disabilities, and caregivers face when finding transportation options that suit their needs. Anyone with a vested interest in advocating for better transportation options for these target populations is invited to attend and contribute to our group discussion.
The summits will be styled after the World Café model. There will be multiple rounds of small group discussion, followed by a “harvest session” where ideas from all of the groups are shared with the whole room. This style of group discussion allows for the mass cross pollination of ideas, and leads to deep insight and revelations.
The November 3rd event will include light refreshments, and will be accompanied by a Resource Fair where attendees can learn more about transportation options that are available to them.
