Trans* healthcare training in the health profession education is limited, leaving many providers feeling uncomfortable providing care for the trans* person. This 1.5 day symposium is designed for all physicians, nurses, nurse practitioners, nurse midwives, physician assistants, social workers, behavioral health specialists and medical students in the Pacific Northwest region who encounter trans* patients in their practice. Participants will increase their competence of care for members of the trans* community.
